Jamaica’s COVID-19 Update. New Doses of The Astra Zeneca Vaccine on the Island.

Since the strict curfew hours and weekend lockdown across the island, the Covid 19 numbers have twinkled down. It would seem that the government implementations have place a firm grasp on the rapid increase of the virus. It is reported that there is only 141 New Cases with 23,429 Active Cases at hand. Within the last 24 hours there has been only one reported death. Remarkable though 107 persons manage to recover from the virus. There is still 933 persons pending their result.

The Jamaican Government also received an additional 55,200 doses of Astra Zeneca vaccine that arrived on the island today, April 27,2021.
