JAY Z PLANS CONCERT OF B-SIDES TO SUPPORT TIDAL
LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Jay Z wants you to sign up for Tidal so badly, he’s willing to break out stuff he hasn’t done live. Jay Z will do a free concert featuring his b-sides — songs that he has not performed live in more than a decade, or ever. He will stream it on the Tidal music streaming service, which he co-owns with Beyonce’, Rihanna, Madonna, Jason Aldean, Jack White and other artists. Jay Z will hold the concert May 13th in New York. Tidal subscribers can submit a playlist to win tickets. Jay Z is defending Tidal’s slow start. He tweets that iTunes wasn’t built in a day and Spotify took 9 years to be successful. Tidal has 770-thousand subscribers.
