JUDGE: CASE WILL PROCEED AGAINST 50 CENT

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ A federal judge in Connecticut has ruled that even though 50 Cent has filed for bankruptcy, a lawsuit against him over a sex tape may proceed. A jury in New York had awarded Lastonia Leviston $5 million after deciding 50 Cent did not have permission when he posted online an explicit tape she made with her boyfriend. A jury was considering punitive damages last week, but 50 Cent filed for bankruptcy the same day. That stalled the case, but the federal judge has now cleared the way for it to proceed
