Keke Palmer Joins Creme of Nature as First-Ever Chief Brand Officer

New York — Creme of Nature®, a leading hair care brand catering to textured hair, has named Emmy award-winning actress, singer, and television host Keke Palmer as its first-ever Chief Brand Officer. This partnership marks a significant step for the Black-founded brand as it continues its mission to deliver high-quality hair care products for curls, coils, and waves.

As Chief Brand Officer, Palmer will take on a role that extends beyond the typical ambassador or spokesperson duties. She will work closely with Creme of Nature’s team on product development, packaging, and marketing, while also contributing to the brand’s storytelling and engaging with its diverse customer base. Palmer will help steer the brand’s direction, ensuring that Creme of Nature remains authentically connected to the multicultural community it serves.

“What really stood out to me about Creme of Nature is their commitment to celebrating Black beauty,” Palmer stated. “From the start, they’ve been crafting effective, high-quality products that cater to our unique hair textures and needs. This partnership is about shaping the future of a company that cares about authenticity, representation, and natural beauty.”

Keke Palmer has built a legacy not only as a celebrated entertainer but as a trailblazer in her industry. Starting her career at the age of 12 in the film Akeelah and the Bee, she has gone on to star in more than 25 films and 30 TV shows. Known for breaking barriers, Palmer was the youngest actress to receive a SAG Award nomination for her role in The Wool Cap, the youngest and first Black woman to play Cinderella on Broadway, and the first Black woman to win an Emmy for Outstanding Game Show Host for NBC’s Password.

Chandra Coleman, Head of Marketing for Creme of Nature, praised Palmer’s authenticity and alignment with the brand’s values. “As a Black-founded brand, it was important for us to collaborate with someone who truly understands and embraces her natural hair. Keke brings a genuine and relatable perspective. Her deep connection to her roots, along with her insights and expertise, will help us better meet the needs of our customers.”

Palmer will be featured across Creme of Nature’s social and digital media campaigns, in-store displays, and national advertising. The actress will also make live appearances for the brand later this year as they continue to roll out new product launches and initiatives.

Creme of Nature was founded in 1976 on the South Side of Chicago, offering a wide range of hair care products specifically designed for coily, curly, and wavy hair textures. The brand has been a trusted name for nearly five decades, providing effective solutions for textured hair.
