Kenyan President Ruto Hosts Dutch King and Queen for State Banquet at State House

NAIROBI, Kenya – Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto welcomed Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands to a State Banquet at State House, Nairobi, as part of efforts to strengthen Kenya-Netherlands relations.

President Ruto emphasized the deep-rooted cooperation between the two nations, particularly in trade, development, and investment. He reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to enhancing these ties for mutual prosperity.

Kenya and the Netherlands have a long-standing diplomatic relationship, with significant partnerships in sectors such as agriculture, water management, and sustainable development. The royal visit marks an important step in expanding bilateral engagements between the two countries.

The State Banquet was part of the Dutch royal couple’s official visit to Kenya, highlighting growing international cooperation and diplomatic ties between the East African nation and European partners.
