Known for his diverse music ability and jam-packed tour schedule, Konshens has carved out some time for the youths.

The dancehall star has teamed up with LIME Jamaica to fulfil one of his many charity initiatives, ‘Music to Fund a Cause’. Konshens is set to perform at five high schools throughout Jamaica in order to raise funds towards each school’s specific initiative. Always ready to perform for a good cause, education is one thing Konshens holds dear to his heart.

“Education is something I take seriously, but most importantly, I strongly believe every child must have access to the proper tools and health to attain a good education,” said Konshens.

LIME Jamaica is always keen on supporting Konshens’ charitable and career initiatives.

They seek to always help the youths and instil a sense of pride in the next generation. The first concert will take place at Konshens alma mater, Excelsior High school. The charitable initiative for Excelsior is to raise funds for the students’ Health & Hygiene programme. The programme aims to upgrade the facilities at the school and teach the students healthy lifestyle habits.

Konshens is pleased to know he can continue to give back to the youths, many of whom support his music today. The students will be entertained by Konshens, backed by his band, Road Life, members of his SubKonshus label (Delus, Darrio, Javada), and surprise guests.

Returning from New York recently where he kicked off his ‘College Pop Up’ campaign, Konshens spoke to the various college students, signed autographs and visited the various departments of each school. Currently in Barbados, Konshens is set to perform with rappers Young Thug and Birdman this weekend.
