Poetic Genius Is Dead

The local and international entertainment scene has been plunged into mourning with the sudden passing of internationally acclaimed artist Merciless. The Jamaican Entertainer is known for his poetic genius.

Merciless showed no lyrical mercy as it relates to stage clashes.  He was born in Clarendon, Jamaica W. I. He was just 51.  He was found unresposive in a motel. It is not known if he had taken any performance enhancing substances to boost his performance nor if he was there alone to get some well needed rest.

Internationally acclaimed dancehall artiste Merciless was found dead in a motel in St. Andrew, Jamaica W.I. today July 19, 2022.

He was said to be found clothed and prior to that it is reported that he had asked for some form of hot beverage complaining that he was not feeling well.

“It was a total shock to me as he was not ailing from any medical condition.”

So stated a somber sounding Carlene, noted dancehall Queen and business woman.

Legacy 

The quality of his lyrical content will be his legacy.  He will be greatly missed for the contribution he made in the music industry.

Carlene said: Merciless was just a happy person … He rhymed every comment. He featured in many lyrical clash on stage and demolished many. He will long be remembered for his performance at the noted popular annual show “Sting.

Mr. Lex said:  Merciless dominated billboard in the 90s.  He had a unique accent.

Dancehall Queen Carlene said he was funny and cracked her up.  He was a most agreeable person, and did not fuss unduly about money owed to him.

Commentary

We are sad to learn of Merciless death.  He will long be remembered for the quality of his lyrical content.  His poetic skills are well known. May his soul rest in peace and light perpetual shine on him. Gone too soon.
