Just last week, the veteran Downsound Records (DSR) artiste had his single premiered on Shade 45, which is an uncensored hip hop channel owned by popular American rapper Eminem.
The single, which was done on a cross over hip hop-dancehall beat, was premiered on DJ Sway on the channel’s morning programme in a segment known as the A&R Room, where hot, new music is played for listeners to commend or critique.
The feedback was extremely positive though it came as little surprise given the instant success the song has received since it was released a few weeks ago.
Ninja Mi Ninja was produced jointly by DSR’s executive producer Scatta Burrell and CEO Joseph Bogdonavich and is being marketed by Contractor’s Music Marketing, a company owned by popular music consultant Sean ‘Contractor’ Edwards.
The song also boasts a music video, which is currently number one on CVM TV’s Fiwi Choice chart show, as well as is dominating other video charts such as UK’s Choice FM Reggae Charts and Ben TV via Contractor’s overseas marketing for the label.
Ninja Man has since released a new single called Jamaica Town, which is said to be lighting up the airwaves.
In 2014, Ninja Man is set to embark on a European club and festival tour, which will be a partnership with Downsound Records, Contractor Music Marketing, and an established Polish promoter.
