Mineral Boss Records (MBR) Continuing the Journey

Within the last two and half years after the passing of her husband/ business partner Cleon ‘Corey’ Jones, Mineral Boss Records (MBR) CEO Tawanna Jones has been trying to put her best foot forward with their record label. It hasn’t been an easy road moving forward alone expresses Tawanna Jones.

“Moving forward without my second skin and my partner in everything is very hard, we had plans and goals to accomplished together. Lately, he has been in my dreams and my thoughts pushing me to do what we had set off to do in the music industry”, said Tawanna.

With the aim to still bring greatness and carry on the legacy of her late husband and business partner, Tawanna picked up where they left off and starts to put stage shows together and providing a platform for the upcoming artistes to showcase their talent without competing against each other.

“I have an event called Break-Thru Sundays live on my Instagram page @t_mineralboss each and every Sunday 9 PM – 11 PM, we go live from inside my club and allow talents to show us what they have instore, it’s not a competition its more like a talent showcase. Other producers and I will record as many as we can and will provide spots for them to open up events for main acts hosted at my club”, said Tawanna.

MBR also inked a management contract with talented artiste Suspense magnum queen 2017 winner and is getting ready to drop her new rhythm titled “Lottery Winner” and loads of singles from well-established artistes.

“I feel so good and encouraging to carry on the legacy of Mineral Boss Records for my husband and I, my dreams is to see my husband works live on forever”, said Mrs. Jones.
