They both said as co-chairs of the United Nations Secretary-General’s SDGs Advocate Group, we believe that the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development offers a path of hope for a better world that is more sustainable, more equitable and more prosperous.
Both Prime Ministers Mottley and Trudeau are calling on leaders of the Americas to work together to empower parliamentarians, civil society and community leaders to raise awareness and mobilize citizens to accelerate progress on the SDGs.
Prime Minister @MiaAmorMottley and I are working together – at the invitation of @UN Secretary-General @AntonioGuterres – to rally people around the world to end poverty, reduce inequality, and more. We sat down and spoke about that work today. Good to see you again, my friend. pic.twitter.com/VsMp6g4g1h
