MTVU WOODIE AWARDS ANNOUNCE NOMINEES
NEW YORK (AP) _ J. Cole, Sam Smith and Charli XCX are among those facing off for Woodie of the Year at the mtvU Woodie Awards. They’ll compete against Run The Jewels, Porter Robinson and FKA Twigs. The awards are based off M-T-V’s college network and winners get chunks of wood. Other nominees include Childish Gambino, Beyonce‘, Drake, Lil Wayne, Sia (SEE’-ah) and Skrillex. The awards will be given out March 20th in Austin, Texas, and for the first time the main MT-V channel will carry the show live.
