November 11, 2021 |By Hopeton O’Connor-Dennie |

In this Vision newspaper exclusive we are reliably informed that on the 22nd January 2022 there will be the changing of the guard at the army parade grounds at Up-Park Camp in Jamaica W. I.

This will not only be a glittering ceremony with a lot of pomp and pageantry, but it will be historic.

Rear Admiral Gorman will assume office as the first female Chief Of Defence Staff. She will replace Major General Rocky Meade.

Gorman 48 will likely serve for 7 years and retire at age 55 which is the practice in the army.

Further details will be supplied as soon as it comes to hand. We wish her all the success in her new role as CDS.
