Earlier this year Dancehall music producer Anthony Thomas of (ANTHONY RECORDS) teamed up with upcoming dancehall artist (INSIDEEUS) for their smashing hit single “Despicable whine” Since its release in March, the song has seen organic growth, made popular by dancers from all corners of the world.
“Despicable Whine” fuses the dancehall genre with its sister genre afrobeats. The video was released last week, incorporates just that while showcasing its world wide outreach featuring dancers from Jamaica, Russia, Portugal, Chile.
Shot in Spanish town, Jamaica the story line is based in an old junk yard, With its fresh concept its easily compared with other releases in its genre such as konshens “bruck off yuh back”, DeeWunn “make it bunx up” and Charly Black ” Bike back”.

Premiering on two of Uk’s biggest urban platforms “Despicable Whine” was introduced on Capital Xtra by the renowned Dj Raskwame as well as BBC Radio 1Xtra by renowned Dj Serocee & Toddlat. Within the first 5 days of its release Despicable Whine was number 7 on the soundcloud top 50 dancehall charts and has now reached over 40,000 streams.
It has been recorded that Despicable Whine has over 200 Viral Videos under it hastag #DespicableWhine
Despicable whine has also been getting heavy rotation locally on Jamaica most popular radio station zip fm and suncity fm.
