NKIV Productions Expands With Moonlight Studios and 2Kind Partnerships
NKIV Productions partnership expands production capabilities while supporting emerging filmmakers
LOS ANGELES — NKIV Productions is expanding its production footprint through a new joint venture with Moonlight Studios while also partnering with nonprofit organization 2Kind to support young and emerging filmmakers.
The West Hollywood-based independent media company announced the partnerships on September 17 as part of a broader expansion that also includes new music-video work and continued growth of its original interview series, Meet the Makers.
A New Production Partnership
NKIV Productions, headquartered at The Lot on Formosa, has entered a joint venture with Moonlight Studios designed to expand both companies’ work across commercial, music and digital visual media.
The partnership’s first project is a music video for recording artist Madeline Rosene, marking an expansion into collaborative music-video storytelling.
Founder Norman King IV said the partnerships build on the company’s approach to storytelling across creative industries.
“NKIV Productions was built on the principle that storytelling spans across disciplines — connecting film, fashion, technology, and design,” King said. “These new partnerships with Moonlight Studios and 2Kind allow us to scale our production capabilities while investing directly in the next generation of visual storytellers.”
Supporting Independent Creators Through 2Kind
Alongside the Moonlight Studios venture, NKIV Productions has formalized a partnership with 2Kind, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on career sustainability for independent creators.
Through joint programming and fiscal sponsorship initiatives, NKIV Productions will support 2Kind’s work providing young and emerging filmmakers with financial education, production mentorship and access to the industry.
The nonprofit alignment adds a creator-development component to NKIV Productions’ expansion, connecting the company’s production work with efforts to build pathways for filmmakers developing their careers.
Meet the Makers Continues to Grow
NKIV Productions is also expanding its original programming. Its interview series Meet the Makers has grown to more than 30,000 subscribers on YouTube and explores creative careers across entertainment, fashion, technology and design.
The newest episode features London-based fashion public relations expert Marco Lönner discussing brand strategy and VIP relations at Paul Smith, as well as his previous work with Levi’s and Giorgio Armani.
Previous guests on the series include actor and model Shayne Davis, entrepreneur Jeremy Travon, celebrity stylist Ariel Tinsley and AI entrepreneur Juliet Gordy.
Building Across Film, Fashion and Digital Media
NKIV Productions develops film, television, digital series and cross-industry projects from its base in West Hollywood. The Moonlight Studios joint venture, 2Kind partnership and continued Meet the Makers programming give the company multiple avenues for expanding both its production slate and its involvement with the wider creative community.
The company said it will continue developing original film, television and digital properties examining contemporary culture, executive achievement and artistic processes.
