Finance Minister Dr Nigel Clarke announced that no new taxes will be imposed on Jamaicans for the 2023/2024 financial period.
Clarke, as he opened the Budget Debate in Parliament on March 7, said that this trend is for the sixth consecutive fiscal year.
The more than one trillion dollar budget is to be financed through existing revenue.
The Minister lauded the Government’s management of the economy.
