Ode To Enhanced Security
It was a check point …
The Security Forces were joint …
We were on our legal way
They had a lot to say ….
Why stopping us without cause
We do not need this pause ….
What do you want from us
Is stopping your only focus?
Comply and don’t complain
That won’t ease the pain
This is our game plan
Even if motivated by Satan
Who cares if such is a shame
Our we are not to blame
Crime is out of control
We are mandated to play a role
We are looking for bleach face
This is the current case …
Why stop us without cause?
We do not need this pause …
State of Emergency is no excuse
For you to do citizen abuse …
To trample one’s human right …
Is certainly not bright …
The forces were polite
As they were trained right
Being abusive and crude
There is no pay day if rude
Zones of Special Operation …
Designed to end commotion …
Zozo has build, hold component
Crime is not its only content ….
Rights are not all suspended
A misguided view related …
Forces have sweeping powers
Reserved rights in legal towers
Causal action can be perused
Perpetrators can be sued …
You cannot just detain at will
Just doing so, only for the thrill
A State of Emergency is no joke
Much emotion it can evoke …
Never intended to be a marathon
To clear up an urgent situation
Public Defender is concerned
Based on what is discerned …
Rights are suspended …
Human Rights to be Defended
