Parliament Officially Opened Today … With New JLP Government …
Since the closing of Parliament to enable the holding of Elections … it now officially reopens today March 10, 2016 here in Jamaica.
The ceremonial opening is a big deal and is of much pomp and pageantry. The Governor General inspects the assembled guard of honour and reads the throne speech.

It is an event of much spectacle and attract much visitors.
