Speaking on the campaign trail Shadow Minister for Health Dr. Dayton Campbell has advised that the Shadow Cabinet headed by Opposition Leader, Dr. Peter David Phillips has not met since February last.  This is scandalous to say the least.

Government In Waiting

An opposition party needs to project to voters that they are better leaders or managers than the government in power.  As government in waiting they are expected to be seen as alternative leaders should an election be called.  Alas!  They have not been positioning themselves to be taken seriously based on this report not denied.

Therefore reports coming from within the PNP ranks by campaign chairman for Rise United, Dr. Dayton Campbell and member of Dr. Peter Phillip’s Shadow Cabinet does not look good. “The Shadow Cabinet has not met since February …” declared  Dr. Dayton Campbell who is the Opposition spokesman for Health.  This is scandalous and does not look good on the Opposition.  Dr. Phillip’s apparent lack lustre leadership has prompted Central Manchester MP Peter Bunting to challenge him (Dr. Peter Phillips) for the presidency of the 81 year old party. This projects Dr. Peter Phillips as a poor leader sleeping at the wheel.

Perspective :

This disclosure by Dr. Dayton Campbell could not come at a worst time for the One PNP team headed by Dr. Peter David Phillips.  Dr. Fenton Ferguson defected to the Rise United team over the weekend.  There has been increased mud slinging as the race has gotten very nasty.  Each side is trying to let the other side look badly in the eyes of the voting delegates in the party and the public.

This is a bombshell disclosure and may have caused a sleepless night for the One PNP team.  Vision’s SIC long predicted that this race could get nasty before it gets better. The vote is set for September 7, 2019.  What is your perspective?  This is ours.  Feel free to disagree.
