Perspective: Ex-Priest Rapes 13 year old

Perspective
An ex-priest while practicing as a priest raped a 13 year old girl on his lap in a church in Canberra, Australia years ago. The woman now 44 has filed a criminal complaint.  The matter is before the court with a publication ban.  The name of the perpetrator and victim cannot be published.
Morality
Can you imagine the trauma this young girl underwent and the emotional stress she is undergoing now reliving and explaining her horrific ordeal.  It is not farfetched to imagine the emotional scar this rape has inflicted on this teenage girl.  No child deserves this, especially from a father figure she trusts and is expected to protect her. She and her guardian (s) were led to believe I am sure, that she would be safe at church even with the priest alone.
Betrayal of Trust
To say this was a disgusting, disgraceful, demeaning and despicable act perpetrated on this young miss who did not deserve nor initiated same, based on reports. Least to mention consented to this sexual encounter. At thirteen,  in most civilized societies, sexual intercourse can never be consensual.  This was plain and simple a serious betrayal of trust by a father figure in among all places a sacred place.
The priest is alleged to have “asked forgiveness” while rapping the 13 year old girl.  Shameful indeed!  Would God grant him such a wish?  What is your view.  We know he gave the thief unconditional love and repentance on the cross.
In my perspective this priest should rot in goal. What is your perspective…feel free to disagree. Do let us hear your views either way.
