Perspective: Judges; Unprofessional, Dark and low …

A caller to a talk Show this morning February 16, 2018 was speaking to Mark Wignal that the conduct of the Judges by withholding their services was “unprofessional, dark and low.”

You will recall that last Monday judges withdrew their services claiming that they had an Administrative Meeting to attend.  The question of the appointment of Chief Justice Sykes was among those administrative issues so urgent that they found it necessary to shutter their courts on a Monday morning.  They could not care less if cases were piled up and prisoners/detainees who were granted bail or to be granted bail rotted in cells.

Privileged

These privileged sons and daughters were prepared to hold our society to randsom as they tried to make their statement and flex their muscles. This talk show caller’s comment is the strongest reaction I have heard apart from our editorial “Judges hold dagger at Holness’ throat” Yes, we agree with the caller that the reaction of judges was unprofessional, dark and low …..   a very low down blow indeed.  In a boxing match they would have lost points for such a low down blow.

PM Holness should not be forced to act due to undue pressure.  Dogs wag tails and nothing more.
