Perspective: Justice Minister & Juliet Holness Strategists

Perspective

These two JLP stalwarts pose for Vision Newspaper at the National Arena at last year’s JLP 75th Annual Conference.  It was a packed arena with supporters spilling out into adjoining spaces outside.
50, 000 Attended
An estimated turn out which was measured by security experts to be in excess of 50, 000 converged on the Arena to hear party leaders and the top Leader Andrew Holness.
Juliet Holness
In addition to being the PM’S wife, she in her own right is quite a politician. As you may be aware she is a MP for East Rural St. Andrew which was in the hands of the PNP now firmly in the grips of the governing JLP.
Delroy Chuck
As Justice Minister MP Delroy Chuck has been doing a great job at reforming and improving the Justice system.  New initiatives like Justice Centres and child diversion programmes.   Child diversion is a way of avoiding children from being sent in not prison to rub shoulders as it were with hardened criminals.
Astute Political Strategists
Delroy Chuck and Juliet Holness are seen as quite adept to political strategy.  For instance Juliet Holness is being credited with successes in by-election wins in St. Mary and most recently Portland.
We will be watching these two political strategists especially as there is talk about a possible snap General election in Jamaica.
What is your perspective?  Let us get your feedback on a snap election and these two political strategists.  Will they make a difference.
