Perspective: Portland Jerk … Keeping A Jamaican Tradition Alive in Canada …

portland jerkWe salute this business establishment for keeping a well known fare of jerk, alive in Canada. We hope it is well supported as we all have to eat.

Jamaicans in particular should feel at home in a foreign land being able to get a meal that is not only delicious but healthy.

This choice of meal can only enhance the uniqueness of us Jamaicans in an overseas setting. This should stand us apart. We wish the business will grow from strength to strength. Keep the standard high and the price reasonable and you will have a winning combination.

Hamburgers and fries are good but for me, give me my rice and peas and jerk … in all forms.

This is vision in action.
