PNP Sets up Disciplinary Committee
Update on Pryce’s Resignation
Jamaica. The latest on the apparent bunkered down MP Raymond Pryce is calls to his hither to be readily answered cell is not being answered.
The PNP in the meantime has moved to set up a Disciplinary Committee to punish those who have “disrespected party Leader Portia Simpson Miller and brought the party into disrepute”.
Tensions are said to be high in the troubled St. Elizabeth constituency.
Is the PNP ready for elections?
Pryce is silent as a dead. The normal highly visible MP has apparently been advised to go in exile or just lay low. We would love to hear from him.
The JLP is also deafingly silent on the resignation of Pryce.
Independent
Reports are a Canadian/Jamaican Mr. Patterson plans to run as an independent candidate in the troubled St. ELIZABETH seat now held by Pryce.
Independents do not have a rich history in Jamaica.
