Police Superintendent Leon Clunis Is Dead

Superintendent Leon Clunis succumbed to injuries received from an ambush in Horizon Park, 1 mile west of Spanish Town Jamaica, when a number of Police Officers went on an operation two weeks ago on June 12, 2020.

Two other constables died the same day from the same incident.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness in reacting to the death of Superintendent Clunis released the following statement.

The alleged suspect responsible for the police shooting is said to have been killed in a shootout with the police that same afternoon in Cooreville Gardens, Jamaica W.I.
