Popular Entertainer Popcaan Charged for Multiple Traffic Violations

The popular entertainer’s Popcaan entourage was stopped in St. Thomas, Jamaica W.I. and charged for multiple traffic violations. Among them are:

Driving a motor cycle without insurance, no license plate,  and no certificate of fitness. These are required by law in Jamaica.

A member of his entourage was criminally charged for having a prohibitive weapon.

Social Media

It is further reported that Popcaan has been bad mouthing the police on social media.  He must be careful what he says.

Commentary

A number of our top Artistes have run a fool of the law and have been in jail. Vybz Kartel and Tommy Lee Spartan readily come to mind.

Popcaan should humble himself.  We cannot behave as if we are above the law.  Someone needs to council these people. Money is not all. If that is why they behave the way it is reported that they do.

Without judging we should at all times try to obey the laws of the land. We are not above the law.

Innocent

Each person is considered innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law. We keep an open mind.
