Quench 2017, a complete Caribana Cooldown
Toronto, Ontario (Sonique Solutions) – The 2017 Toronto Caribbean Carnival popularly known as ‘Caribana’ was truly an epic 50th anniversary of the beloved cultural affair. The weekend was topped off by the ultra-premium all-inclusive event ‘Quench’ which in the opinion of many has become a true standout on the list of must attend Caribana weekend events.
The annual Caribana Sunday event which was recently held at Acqua Dolce at the famous Exhibition Grounds in Toronto provided the perfect balance of comfort and excitement which added extreme entertainment value to an already action packed weekend.
Produced by Toronto Raptors assistant coach, consultant and team ambassador Jamaal Magloire and his Toronto Revellers family, the premium all-inclusive affair was a hot topic among local Carnival enthusiasts and even some foreign-based fetters that flew in for the weekend due to the momentum and buzz generated from the highly successful ‘Escape’ fete in July.
The promoters went the extra mile to ensure that an enjoyable, memorable time was had by all in attendance.
Quality was indeed the order of the evening as the event offered a venue with both an indoor and outdoor setting, chic atmosphere and a comfortable social setting ideal for partying from daytime to nighttime.
Added to this luxuriant, relaxing ambience was the wide variety of food options, top of the line drinks (combined with efficient bar service) and fine desert offerings.
This day after the road parade cool down party brought out a collection of finely-dressed fete lovers and featured an all-star cast of DJs which included DJs Eternal Vibes, Dubble Impact and D’Ultimate Sting and pulsating performances by top Soca acts: Kerwin Dubois, Lyrikal, GBM Nutron, Skinny Banton and Tallpree.
Hosted, by Miami’s Giselle D Wassi One, this year’s Quench premium all-inclusive experience attracted several festival fanatics and Caribbean entertainment industry personalities.
It also gave many masqueraders an opportunity to relive some memorable moments from the parade.
In the true spirit of philanthropy, part proceeds of Quench went towards the Jamaal Magloire Foundation which is a non-profit organization devoted to improving the lives of at-risk youth through the power of sport.
