Rad Dixon honors Musical Pioneers with Covers Project

Reggae Crooner Rad Dixon is giving the necessary respect and appreciation to musical greats with his latest 4 track EP – The Best Lovers Rock Covers now officially released on January 1, 2022.

The project showcases the artiste giving renditions of world renowned RandB and Reggae songs from some of the music industry’s greats like Dennis Brown, Kenny Rodgers, Bryan Adams and Billy Ocean. It is executively produced by Dixons Management team Tasjay Productions and presented by musical connoisseur DJ Treasure Music.

Rad believes that some of these artistes and songs paved the way for many of the young reggae acts now touring worldwide and wanted to show his own appreciation

“Billy ocean is for sure one of the most established Rastafarian performers in Rhythm and Blues singing real love songs, not to mention the great Dennis Brown one of reggae’s finest lovers rock singers who has inspired a lot of artistes globally,. This is the perfect way to honor their contribution” Rad shared

The familiarity of the tracks is also a bonus for Rad as this will only showcase his talent and versatility especially on the live stage.

“Doing a covers album is a good idea because these are songs people already know and love, now they get to experience my own flavor on songs that everyone can sing along to. It’s always great to start the New Year with a new yet familiar project,” Rad added

The project is another in a successful line up of releases from Tasjay productions who released the Outta Jamaica Project that featured; Luciano, Anthony B , Little Hero, Horace Martin and many more. The Arise Remix official music video which features Richie Spice, Horace Martin and Rad Dixon should be released later this month from the Tasjay Production camp as well.
