The new season offers contestants the chance to win $200,000 in undiluted equity to help scale their businesses. Each episode will feature the entrepreneurs’ business pitches and plans, offering viewers an inside look into their unique approaches to beauty and wellness. The show will be judged by industry leaders, including Shequeita Orr Frazier, Senior Director at Target Accelerators; Erica Douglas, Founder and CEO of mSEED Group; television host and producer Julissa Bermudez; and Monique Rodriguez, Founder and CEO of Mielle Organics.

Mentors like Melissa Butler, Founder and CEO of The Lip Bar; Adrienne Lofton, Vice President of Consumer Marketing at Google; and Dr. Kari Williams, Director of Education at Cécred, will provide invaluable guidance to contestants, helping them navigate the competitive beauty industry.

Detavio Samuels, CEO of REVOLT, emphasized the importance of this season’s focus on beauty, saying, “This season, with the tremendous support of partners like Target and Google, we’re not only helping these entrepreneurs grow their businesses, we’re directly confronting systemic barriers in the beauty industry head-on by assuring Black innovators receive their rightful seat at the table.”

A key feature this season is the integration of technology into the beauty space, reflecting the growing influence of artificial intelligence (AI) and other innovations in the sector. Contestants will use Google’s Pixel 9 Pro XL phone to enhance their storytelling, with the show highlighting how emerging technologies can shape business models and expand entrepreneurs’ reach.

Adrienne Lofton, Global Vice President of Consumer Marketing at Google, who served as a mentor, praised the participants, stating, “They each brought an incredible level of intention, sophistication, and passion to our conversations. I learned so much from my time with these businesses and know they will go on to achieve great things.”

Bet on Black is more than just a competition—it is an opportunity for Black entrepreneurs to challenge stereotypes, reshape narratives, and inspire future innovators. The show aligns with REVOLT’s mission to empower the Black business community, offering a national platform for these trailblazing entrepreneurs to share their stories and amplify their impact.
