Robust Security As MPs & Senators Are Sworn in

There was robust security in the precincts of Gordon House aka Jamaica’s Parliament. Some 500 ;police were deployed to protect the integrity of our democracy. With the results of the elections razor thin with a majority of only one it behooves all to cooperate and work for compromise.

It was a spectacle worth witnessing as the who is who in the Jamaican society decked out in their finest attire came out. Diplomats, and foreign representatives witnessed the historic occasion of the Swearing in of the Upper and lower Houses of Parliament in Jamaica W.I.
