Romain, I-Octane ignite Manchester
THE market town of Christiana in Manchester came alive with music Saturday as sound system operator Pink Panther celebrated his birthday on Main Street.
A large turnout was entertained by sound systems Bass Odyssey and Kilamanjaro, as well as a host of selectors including the veteran Ricky Trooper.

There were performances from emerging acts like JaDore, Villa Dutch, Dalton Harris, Rae Tae, Esco Levi, and Rozay.
At 2:30 am, the police made their way on stage to pull the plug on the event. But, after pleading from the selectors, they extended the show by
an hour.
This resulted in abbreviated sets from Loyal Flames, D Major, Charlie Blacks, and Nesbeth.
Things really got hot when Romain Virgo and I-Octane took the stage. Taking turns to deliver their songs, fans ignited torches in celebration of tunes like Mama You Alone, Don’t You Remember, Gal a Gimme Bun and Rain is Falling.
Proceeds from Saturday’s Guinness-sponsored event will go to community development.
