Seeds of Unity Festival to Bring Reggae, Culture, and Community to St. Ann
Seeds of Unity Jamaica event will feature reggae performances and cultural activities at Drax Hall Sports Complex
St Ann, jamaica – Herb Pocket Productions, presented by Ijah Maakie, is preparing to stage Seeds of Unity on May 16, 2026, at the Drax Hall Sports Complex.
Described by organizers as “a cultural experience of learning, connection & growth,” the all-day event will combine reggae performances, community engagement, and cultural programming designed for attendees of all ages.
The showcase is expected to highlight reggae music, Rastafari-inspired culture, and themes of unity and social connection throughout the day-long gathering.
Reggae and Cultural Artists Lead Diverse Lineup
The festival’s lineup includes performances from several reggae and cultural entertainers, including Yaksta, Turbulence, Little Hero, Prohgres, Shakespear D-Dondadda, and Ijah Maakie.
Additional performers scheduled to appear include Nazine, I-Chad, Sassy Starlett, Maroon Queen, Dinho Da Rastaman, Robbie Rule, and KXNG Izem.
Music throughout the event will also be powered by Mad Instrument Sound System, with guest entertainment from Team Vybz and hosting by DJ Amber of Irie FM.
Event Focused on Family and Community Experience
Organizers say Seeds of Unity is intended to offer more than just live music performances, creating an atmosphere centered on community participation, cultural appreciation, and family-friendly experiences.
Gates are scheduled to open at 9:00 a.m., with live performances beginning at 12:00 noon.
Admission has been set at JMD $7,500 (USD $50) all-inclusive, while children under the age of 12 will receive free entry.
