Chivea, a Jamaican born US- based artist is known for “Back It Up” ft. Macka Diamond.

In an interview with Vision Caribbean TV,  Chivea, now in the island for Jamaica’s 60th anniversary, expressed delight.

“I couldn’t have done this without my wife, “Sandy British” my Manager, “Pinkii Pinkx” and “HQ Chiney Gymnastic.”

They are the  ones who really helped to make this possible. It is so good to see the smiling faces of children.

“This is something I would love to do for other schools with summer classes.”

Principal of the school, La-Toya Nesbitt described the treat as, “one in a million.” “This is our summer school session. Students were not out for two long years because of the COVID-19 pandemic, so you can just imagine what this means to them.”

The students who are from grades 1 to 6 are attending summer classes to fully prepare for the PEP (Primary Exit Profile) examinations and to improve  on their weak areas for the new academic year come September, 2022.

Chivea born Chivea Brown, grew up in  Linstead, St. Catherine. He  migrated  to Philadelphia, US in 2008.

He is well-known for”Bubble” a combination  with Dwayno, “Don’t Trust Friend” “Pon Di Side” and “Massah.”
