STEVIE J ORDERED TO REHAB
NEW YORK (AP) _ Rehab or work? Apparently if one cast member of V-H-1’s “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” had his way, he’d rather work and repay his debts than get clean. But the New York City judge handling his case has different ideas. And he has ordered Stevie J to spend 30 days at a drug rehabilitation centre. Prosecutors say Stevie J has failed 10 tests for coke and pot since his arrest in June — and needs help to kick the drugs. The New York Post reports that Stevie J was in court for a hearing after being arrested for failure to pay more than one-million dollars in child support while earning 27-thousand dollars a month. Stevie J’s lawyer argued — unsuccessfully — that rehab would keep the record producer from working and repaying his debts.
