Humbled by the success of their recently released “Strictly Roots” Album which topped #1 on both billboard and iTunes, the Royal Family of Reggae is giving their fans an unprecedented up close and personal acoustic performance of the acclaimed album.

On Monday, May 18th, 2015, Morgan Heritage will give a VIP experience in the eclectic listening room of Subrosa. Located in New York’s Meatpacking District, the renowned venue dedicated to showcasing music, art, and culture provides live music nightly, while focusing to provide a unique creative hub for the finest artists in World Music disciplines and beyond. Subrosa is the premiere intimate environment for musicians and fans alike.

In collaboration with LargeUp.com, a global platform for Caribbean music, arts and culture, reggae’s most powerful forces on the global stage, the sensational roots reggae quintet, which comprises siblings Peetah Morgan (vocals), Una Morgan (keyboard/vocals), Roy “Gramps” Morgan (keyboard/vocals), Nakhamyah “Lukes” Morgan (rhythm guitar) and Memmalatel “Mr. Mojo” Morgan (percussion/vocals) will deliver the unmistakably authentic Morgan Heritage organic roots sound, with an expansively eclectic mix that takes it seamlessly into hybrid valleys and mountains, as they pay homage to the elders, while ironically, also blazes the trail towards the exciting future of roots.

According to Gramps, “Strictly Roots, our 10th studio album is particularly significant. It represents our first album released independent of VP Records, on our very own label CTBC Music Group.
