Supa Hype joins Suncity 104.9 FM

Dancehall disc jockey and television personality Supa Hype is now part of the Suncity 104.9 FM team.

“I am very elated to have been chosen by Mr Billings to be a part of such an amazing radio station. The thing I love the most about Suncity is the fact that they carry different themes daily,” said Supa Hype, who is also the promoter for the popular Sexy Tuesdays event.

The CEO of Suncity 104.9 FM, Steve Billings, is also excited about having the DJ on board, adding that he thought Supa Hype was the ideal fit for the station.

“Supa Hype has been a friend to me for a while now. His charisma and high-energy juggling is what the station needs,” he said.

Born and raised in Liguanea, Kingston, Supa Hype has been pursuing music from an early age. With more than 20 years of experience as a street DJ under his belt, he is now eager to become a household name in radio.

He added, “If my fans want to listen to me, then effective July 4, I will be on Suncity 104.9 FM every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and I am more than ready to bring something new to the station”.

The official signing party for the disc jockey was scheduled to be held at Sexy Tuesdays at Mango Ranch in Kingston last night.
