Thousands Mourn Capri on the worldwide web, and Jamaica W.I. A Musical treat by local & international Artistes was evident. The funeral was streamed live on the internet to a worldwide audience …. hungry for information on the artiste who died tragically in a motor vehicle accident.
Over a thousand persons converged on the University College of the West Indies, (UWI) Mona Chapel 10 AM yesterday Monday December 14, to support the family and friends of Jordan Joel Phillips…. aka. Capri. “If music be the food of love …..” was an oasis of same.
A tent with an additional 300 chairs as the throng of mourners spilled outside the Chapel.
Tear filled eyes was as abundant as the host of aristes in attendance. It was a rich outpouring of genuine grief. Capri was well loved. She made a positive impact on the entertainment industry at an early age. “Gone too ” was the lament of the day.
