Reggae Veteran Thriller U Releases Video for his hit single “Non Genuine”
Nyah Bless Music has just unveiled the official video for their single, “Non Genuine” performed by reggae veteran Thriller U. The song was first shared in late February and has been getting solid rotation from reggae radio programs as well as street and club DJs worldwide.
Visuals for the catchy lovers-rock tune shows a female – played by actress Shernette Williams – who deceives her man, Thriller U (played by popular Jamaican actor DJ Stanhype), by getting him to buy her a house and other expensive items, all while cheating on him. The video was shot in and around the Three Oaks area in Kingston, Jamaica. It was directed and edited by Maria Jackson Entertainment.
In a release to the media, Hopeton Brown, CEO of Nyah Bless Music, spoke about Thriller U’s upcoming album. “We spent the latter part of last year building rhythms to ensure a Grammy type production. Regardless, without adequate promotion the music will go nowhere. To that end, we have acquired the services of several notable PR firms to ensure the music is available to the public.” |
