TIMBALAND RELEASES FIRST SONG FROM “EMPIRE”
NEW YORK (AP) _ Fox’s new show about a hip-hop mogul whose family is battling to take over his empire will release the music that serves as the soundtrack. Timbaland is the executive music producer for “Empire,” which debuts January 7. He produced the song “No Apologies” by Jussie Smollet and Bryshere Gray, who appear in the show. It’s on iTunes now and it will be featured in the second episode. Guest musicians will appear on music used in the show.
