TORCH EXPLODES WITH ‘SELF RECLAIMED’ EP

ready TORCH (15 of 41)

Reggae Music’s fire starter Torch ‘The Ever Burning Flame’ has something intense in store for his current and prospective fans this October.

The artiste, who rose to heightened popularity with his Silly Walks Discotheque produced ‘Good Reggae Music’ single in 2013, will be releasing his debut EP “SELF RECLAIMED” on October 30 through VP Records’ VPal Music.

Working on this EP for an entire year with his team, Torch wanted to give authentic reggae music lovers a deep and eclectic roots experience. He therefore spent as much time as possible on the eight track project to achieve musical nirvana.

“This is a re-introduction of me as a stronger artist with some fresh sounds so perfection was necessary and I know everyone will definitely love the work. The energy is straight fire while touching present issues; it’s also life music, food for the soul. Torch explained.

The artiste pulled on some of Jamaica’s noted producers and composers to make this project distinctive and special; including Royal Order Production Kurt Riley of Techniques Records and Frankie Music, who also plays the role of Executive Producer on the project.

The SELF RECLAIMED EP also features collaborations from artistes both locally and internationally. The single “Super Star” features recording artiste Bugle while “Fire Man A Bun” has notes from Weedy G production in Germany, Dizzy Dee from Australia pens with Torch on “Thought For The Mind” as well as Safari production on the single “Perfect Peace”.

Self Reclaimed is different from the everyday nursery rhymes that you hear on a regular basis, this is music that everyone can relate to in one way or the other. Word, Sound and Power” Torch added.

The singer, who recently returned from a two city performance stint in Canada, will be gearing up for an extensive North American tour early next year to promote the EP.
