UK rap don Giggs releases new mixtape – Now Or Never

Toronto, ON (November 6, 2020) – Today UK rap don Giggs – one of the most vital, exciting rappers around – continues his ascent with heavyweight new mixtape, Now Or Never. To date, Giggs has released five studio albums – each bigger and bolder than the last – several mixtapes, performed all over the world, and collaborated with many high profile peers, including: Drake, Ed Sheeran, Jorja Smith, Stormzy, Skepta, Dave, Mark Ronson, Richard Russell, 2 Chainz, Popcaan, Lily Allen and Stefflon Don. Now Or Never is Giggs’ first full-length offering since his widely acclaimed 2019 album, BIG BAD. Out now, this surprise 16 track release features Jorja Smith, Dave, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Demarco and Emeli Sandé among others.

“If you’re talkin’ the hardest, Giggs better pop in your thoughts as an artist” … Although a bold claim at the time, Giggs’ opening line to his 2007 street anthem and break-out hit, Talkin’ The Hardest, is now accepted as a statement of fact.  The rapper has consistently distinguished himself as not only one of the hardest, but also the most talented, pioneering and uncompromising British artists.  His distinctive flow and creative wordplay – coupled with a unique ability to traverse hardcore rap, grime and hip-hop – have earned him both critical acclaim and commercial success.

Whilst Giggs’ discography now stretches back well over a decade, the past few years have been especially productive and successful.  In 2016, the rapper’s independently released album, Landlord – which included stand out singles Whippin Excursion and Lock Doh – hit #2 in the UK Albums Chart.  The following year, Giggs dropped the full length mixtape, Wamp 2 Dem, which also reached #2.  Then, in 2019 his latest album, BIG BAD… – featuring Jadakiss, Labrinth, Ghetts, Lil Yatchy, French Montana, Swizz Beatz, Wretch 32, and more – landed at #6, and the same year Giggs received his first Brit Award nomination. Despite only starting to tour properly since 2017, Giggs’ highlights already include sold out hometown, London shows at The Roundhouse, Hammersmith Apollo and Wembley Arena.
