Volcanic Eruption In St. Vincent & The Grenadines

“There has been a volcanic eruption in the small island of St. Vincent and The Grenadines some two weeks ago. A Red Zone was created and residents all were asked to leave same.  Some citizens refused to leave the red zone.  Cattle is dying and water supply is contaminated.  The government is asking for cash as the ports are congested.”

As reported by Damian McTier, a journalist in a telephone interview.

The PM Dr. Ralph Gonzalez toured the area in a convey of vehicles recently.

Tears

International aid has been pouring into the disaster zone. Jamaica and other countries have been sending aid to St. Vincent and The Grenadines. The PM broke down in tears as he was overcome by emotion in gratitude at the outpouring of love.
