ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE (AP) _ A Chicago guy who wants to be president? For the White House it’s a case of been there, done that. White House press secretary Josh Earnest says he’s looking forward to Kanye West‘s potential bid for the presidency. The rapper claimed he was going to run for president in 2020 _ at the end of a long, rambling speech to accept the Vanguard Award at the Video Music Awards on Sunday night. Earnest said he looks forward to seeing what slogan West comes up with for his campaign hats. West has come up on the administration’s radar during Barack Obama’s two terms in office. The president used called him “a jackass” for taking Taylor Swift’s mic when she was accepting a V-M-A back in 2009. And recently, West compared the world’s fascination with his wife Kim Kardashian to its interest in first lady Michelle Obama.
