World No.1 Daniel Nestor visits Jamaica for Children’s Charity

Montego Bay, Jamaica—Former world doubles #1 and Olympic Gold medalist Daniel Nestor who holds Wimbledon amongst his collection of credits visited Montego Bay and supported a children’s clinic for boys and girls from the Hopewell community.

The clinic was coordinated by Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation and supported by Tryall Club and the Gore Foundation.

Children, using hand sanitizers and wearing masks enjoyed a clinic performed by Daniel Nestor, Karl Hale (Jamaican born) former Davis Cup player and current Rogers Cup Tournament Director and Bruce Croxon of tv show Dragons Den.

The children went through drills, motivational talks, practice and stayed on after the clinic to practice on their own.

“We wanted to provide some inspiration and happiness for the children at this time. Going through the pandemic is very difficult for everyone but especially the children of Jamaica.” Karl Hale helping hands foundation.
