COVID-19 Update for Jamaica

A total of 14 persons have recently lost their lives from the effects of the COVID-19 virus in Jamaica. The total Covid-19 deaths in Jamaica since the pandemic began is currently at 1,011.
News cases on the island are 79 with total active cases at 20,237. New recoveries are 190.
Commentary
We commend the persons that adhere to the COVID-19 rules and regulations to counter the impact of the virus and we continue to encourage these behaviours as it is in the best interest of everyones well being and livelihood.
With today’s update, Jamaica has officially reported more than 1,000 overall COVID-19 deaths.
