BOF and BCFC Launch Program for Black-Led Nonprofits
In a groundbreaking move to bolster Black communities nationwide, the Black Opportunity Fund (BOF) and the Black Canadian Fundraisers Collective (BCFC) have introduced a new grant and capacity building program tailored for Black-led nonprofits and charities (B3s).
Supported by the TD Ready Commitment and the RBC Foundation, the BOF/BCFC B3 Capacity Building Program will provide $20,000 in funding, coaching, and training over an 8-month period to empower organizations to address community needs effectively.
Priority will be given to organizations from specific communities, including Halifax, Toronto, and Windsor-Essex County. An information webinar will be held on March 20, 2024, and applications will be accepted from March 25 to April 24, 2024.
