Raymond Pryce who was appointed deputy General Secretary in charge of Communications for the PNP … he resigned today January 13, 2016.

PNP is in turmoil as there is trouble in the St. ELIZABETH, North East Constiuency. Embattled MP who was dumped by the PNP selection process was forced to walk. Seen as a hand picked candidate by Party President Portia Simpson Miller, he was a first time MP.

Pryce has paid the ultimate price due to the conduct of his constituents. On Tuesday some 13 buses were packed and converged on the PNP head quarters in an effort to convince the PM to reinstate Pryce as a candidate in the upcoming election.

Pryce supporters took the PNP to court which has upset hard core supporters of the PNP. If that was not all they publicly criticized Party President Portia Simpson Miller … describing her as “soft” … employing that she (Portia) is a weak and ineffective leader. This appears to be the last straw that forced the leadership to move against Pryce. He has paid the ultimate price. Such is politics. Pryce has denied involvement in demonstrations. Right!
