Culture Bridge Festival not returning in 2019

Culture Bridge Initiatives (CBI) announces that Culture Bridge Festival (CBF) will not return in 2019.

CBI, producers of the free annual festival, extends sincere appreciation to festival funders, sponsors, partners, volunteers, performers, food and artisan vendors, community agencies and guests who participated and contributed to the success of the festival, ever since its inception.

We are thrilled for the opportunity over the years, to entertain guests in Newmarket and East Gwillimbury, with a variety of live performances. CBF’s presentations included the vibrant cultures of the Caribbean (Guyana, Trinidad, Jamaica, Dominica), India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Africa, China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Ukraine, and also contemporary and classical Canadian artistry.

CBI’s mission is to create meaningful social connections for culturally diverse communities through arts, culture and sports.
