Galaxy rout Central of Trinidad and Tobago 5 1 in CONCACAF Champions League
CARSON, Calif. (AP)_ Gyasi Zardes scored on a penalty kick and had two assists to help the Los Angeles Galaxy rout Central of Trinidad and Tobago 5-1 on Thursday night in their CONCACAF Champions League group opener.
Alan Gordon, Raul Mendiola, Giovani dos Santos and Ignacio Maganto also scored for the Galaxy. Ataulla Guerra scored for Central.
Comunicaciones of Guatemala also is in the three-team group.
