Ian Thompson … Hero … Saved Factory From Burning Down … Awarded …
Mr. Ian Thompson was recognized for bravery for helping to prevent a certain disaster by acting with bravery.
“The oven in the biscuit factory caught fire and I tried to extinguish the fire … I used the fire extinguisher … when the fire brigade came they did the cooling down. The fire was under control by this time. I used the fire extinguisher and dug out the fibre glass to suppress the fire. The cause of the fire has not been ascertained … but arson was not suspected … it was about 8 PM. There was production going at the time”.
Ian was recognized for his outstanding effort and bravery by Chairman Paul B. Scott by International Biscuits Limited, a member of the Seprod Group of Companies.
“This plaque is a token of our appreciation” Paul B. Scott remarked to Vision in a brief interview after the presentation to Mr. Ian Thompson.
