It is only a matter of time for Jahazeil Myrie’s Message EP to be ready like Freddy. That’s the word from the reggae artiste.

The four-tracks are “Introduction” (to the album), “Born Star, “Suicide,” and “Journey.”

In an interview with Vision Caribbean TV Jahazeil says, ” This is a Message EP, so expect to get some positive food for thought.

“In fact, be prepared for the stories which become a path of my journey in music.

“I began to think about doing this EP about a year ago, then decided on a theme which is, ” Message.” I  listened to all the songs I have done  which connect to this theme and made my final decision.

” This is a theme which speaks about some of the tribulations one  experience in life, such as the passing of loved ones. And, in such difficult times, Jahazeil  keeps telling them to “Keep Strong.”

US- based producer/artiste Delly Ranx takes time-out to  congratulate Jahazeil. ” I wish you success, you have come a long way. I know Jahazeil before the music bug  bite him and I am also proud that he is following in the footsteps of his father. His song “Hold On” which I produced  on my Cotton Swab riddim remains one of my favourites on that set.”

Jahazeil explains that “Journey” represents the stages in life and experiences which can either be good or bad. “In my case it speaks to my music career which is not smooth sailing, as I have had a number of obstacles. But, as an optimist,  i always keep in my head that I am a born star another song featured on my album.

“The track ‘Born Star’ is motivational in every sense of the word, especially after such devastating effects of COVID -19.

It also represents every Jamaican who has contributed to the growth of this nation.”
